Louisiana Bread Pudding with Apples and Raisins

 Happy Louisiana Day ! 



  Louisiana Bread Pudding with Apples and Raisins :  A classic Louisiana dessert. 






  • 1 loaf french bread
  • 2 quarts milk
  • 2 C sugar
  • 1 tsp nutmeg,vanilla,cinnamon
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/2 box raisin
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 apple cored and sliced
Tear french bread in bite size pieces, Place in a bowl and cover with Milk. Let sit about 10 minutes. Add rest of ingredients and Mix. Place in a baking dish and Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until done.
